86K is built for 8.6BLK and 338ARC — cartridges that punish suppressors not designed for them. Titanium Ti64 construction through 3D metallurgical additive manufacturing keeps it to 12.2 oz on a 6.60″ body, which is remarkable for a can rated to 3000 FPS in a magnum bore.
The 1.90″ diameter is deliberate. Bore volume is what does the work on large-case subsonics, and 86K trades a wider profile for the internal capacity those rounds need, rather than stretching length and ruining the balance of a short-barreled host.
With a 10″ minimum barrel length and HUB 1.375x24 mounting, 86K is aimed squarely at the short barrel PDW role: heavy, quiet projectiles out of a package that stays maneuverable.
