RSAW

RSAW was built around the reality of how .300 Blackout is actually used: short barrels, suppressed operation, and the need to run radically different ammunition profiles without compromise. It is not a generic carbine adapted to .300BLK, it is a purpose-driven system engineered to exploit the caliber’s full ballistic envelope in confined and urban environments.

At the core of RSAW is an 8″ barrel with a 1:7 twist rate, deliberately selected to favor subsonic projectiles while maintaining stable, predictable ballistics with supersonic .300BLK loads. This twist profile allows RSAW to deliver consistent accuracy across the entire spectrum of ammunition, from heavy subsonic rounds optimized for suppressed use to lighter, faster supersonic loads intended for increased reach and terminal performance. The result is a single rifle that does not force the shooter to choose between stealth and flexibility.

Ballistically, .300 Blackout comes into its own in short barrels, and RSAW is optimized precisely for that reality. In an 8″ configuration, the platform efficiently harnesses the cartridge’s pressure curve, delivering reliable velocity, controlled recoil, and repeatable accuracy without the excessive blast and flash penalties seen in shorter 5.56 systems. Supersonic loads maintain practical effectiveness across urban distances, while subsonic ammunition paired with a suppressor delivers exceptionally low acoustic and visual signature.

RSAW was engineered with reduced signature as a primary design goal. Gas system tuning, barrel length, and system geometry work together to minimize blast, flash, and sound, making the rifle exceptionally well suited to suppressed operations. At the same time, the platform retains the ability to rapidly transition roles, moving from discreet, low signature engagements to more aggressive configurations as the environment demands.

Within 300 meters, RSAW offers immense versatility. It delivers controllable handling in tight spaces, reliable performance from improvised firing positions, and consistent ballistic behavior across ammunition types. Urban combat rarely allows ideal conditions, and RSAW is designed to thrive in that reality – compact, adaptable, and effective without unnecessary complexity.
